🙏 The Foundation and “Cement Mix” for Building Mental, Emotional & Spiritual Wellness.
There is purpose for everyone on this earth.
Love and respect who God created you to be, regardless of how others define you or what you have decided are your imperfections; your perception is not God’s.
What you may think are short comings or “disabilities” have redemptive or blessed potential that are not often evident. This is potential to change your life and that of even just that one person who if but for you, they would never have the breakthrough they have hoped and prayed for.
Your life matters tremendously!
Having a clear revelation, wisdom and understanding as to how much it matters is possible through cultivating a life in Christ; studying the bible and developing a personal relationship with God.
Jesus said he came to give abundant life to those who believe in him (John 10:10).Abundant life comes from God through Christ and is therefore empowering and productive.
Having Christ as our foundation, the “building blocks” of a purposeful and therefore productive life through mental, emotional and spiritual wellness in Christ are a “cement mix” of having God’s perspective in relation to
-how you perceive yourself and your role in this world and
-the part your afflictions
play in your life path.
The right self-perception is important.
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ in His wisdom knows what we need in order for us to have a life of purpose, His purpose. The key requirement is transformation of our mind and character through sanctification when we make Him our LORD.
In relation to our minds, the Apostle Paul teaches the following:
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect”. (Romans 12:2 NLT)
The Apostle James writes the following in relation to character transformation through trials:
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. “(James 1:2-4 NLT)
This is why living in denial about our emotional, mental or spiritual state is detrimental and serves as an obstacle to us receiving healing and ultimately what God has planned for our lives.
When we are realistic about our weaknesses and fears, we can also be realistic and therefore confident in the ability we have in Christ who we have made our source and foundation to strengthen us and deliver us from our fears.
